Why should I vote for Richard "Rick" James?

I am very proud of the job that I have done for our country, community, and our students. It is this service and experience that has prepared me to deal with the tough issues we face and be a strong leader for the people we serve. I will promote legislation to insure that:

Children will have the best education opportunity to compete in a global workforce; to maintain the benefits that our seniors have worked for and earned; to maintain and improve our roads and interstate system; to insure the economic vitality of our state, and ports; to provide better consumer protection to protect us from predatory lending and the like; and to keep our communities, families and children safe.
